Five different GT-Rs combined to win 7 out of the 9 rounds during the 2008 Super GT season. One of these cars was the Calsonic IMPUL GT-R with its famous blue livery, which was driven by Tsugio Matsuda and Sebastien Philippe. At the 1,000km race at Suzuka, the Calsonic Impul GT-R was able to recover from early troubles to go on to win the race. Furthermore, at the last race of the season at Fuji Speedway, despite starting from a 12th place qualifying position, the team took a gamble to race with slick tires in difficult wet conditions and this famously paid off as they won the race.

Length: 200mm, Width: 86mm. ★The GT-R’s excellent aerodynamic form, including the side fender attachments, front fender with side louvers, and the rear wing specific to the machine which raced at Round 3 Fuji Speedway, have been realistically reproduced. ★White sponsor logos are depicted with high-quality pad-printed markings. ★Photo-etched parts depict front air-intake mesh, air-outlet mesh on the rear fenders, catch pins, kill switch, and brake discs. ★Solid rubber tires accurately depict the front 18-inch and rear 17-inch slick tires. ★Metal transfers depict the GT-R emblem and side mirrors surfaces. ★The model is attached to the display base with a name plate and transparent plastic case.
