【風格出眾的“Power Elite”】

以「開創全新類型的 New Age Car（新時代之車）」為主題，於 1980 年 9 月登場的 NISSAN 高級個人化轎車（Personal Car）即為雷帕德（Leopard）。在同時提供雙門與四門兩種硬頂車身的車系中，被設定為最高級車款的是 280X SF-L。

這款先進且個性十足的雙門硬頂車身，透過減少車身各部位的段差，實現了出色的空氣動力性能。搭載的引擎是輸出 145 匹馬力的直列六缸 L28E 型，變速箱可選 5 速 MT 或 3 速 AT。此外，配備自動調節後輪車高的「自動水平儀（Auto Levelizer）」機構也是其懸吊的一大特點。

不僅如此，豪華且配備豐富的車內同樣引人注目。SF-L 標配真皮座椅，以及具備 6 種功能的駕駛電腦、自動定速巡航（Auto Speed Control）、自動空調等配備。滿載當時最先進汽車電子技術的雷帕德，以「Power Elite」「Techno Roman」等詞彙被世人介紹，作為日本個人化轎車的先驅而廣為人知。

【Style-Leading “Power Elite”】

Developed under the theme of “a new age car that creates a new genre,” the NISSAN luxury personal car that appeared in September 1980 was the Leopard. Among the two hardtop body variants offered—2-door and 4-door—the top-of-the-line grade was the 280X SF-L.

This advanced, characterful 2-door hardtop body reduced panel steps throughout the body to achieve outstanding aerodynamic performance. Power comes from the in-line 6-cylinder L28E engine producing 145 hp, with a choice of 5-speed MT or 3-speed AT transmission. The suspension also features an “Auto Levelizer” mechanism that automatically adjusts the rear ride height.

Moreover, the luxurious, fully equipped interior is equally eye-catching. The SF-L came standard with genuine leather seats, a drive computer with six functions, auto speed control, and auto air conditioning. Loaded with the most advanced automotive electronics of its era, the Leopard was introduced with words such as “Power Elite” and “Techno Roman,” and is known as a pioneer of Japanese personal cars.
