[Green giant fought to defend the country]
The KV-1 is a heavy tank of the Soviet army that was officially adopted in 1939. Among the various types of KV-1 that were produced, the 1941 model is equipped with a long barrel 76.2 mm gun ZIS-5 that can penetrate the armor of the German tank of the same period from a long distance to the main gun. Early production vehicles had a basic turret of 75 mm thick armor assembled by welding armor steel plates. In June 1941, the KV-1 that set out with the start of the German-Soviet battle was tenacious and defensive with its high defensive and offensive capabilities. It stopped the invincible German army and contributed greatly to the subsequent victory of the Soviet army.
