Blue Version
The Subaru Brat was made solely for export, and achieved tremendous popularity in the U.S. market in the 1970s. Tamiya first produced an R/C version of this popular little truck back in 1983, and then an updated, improved re-release in 2007. Now the Brat appears as a special Blue Version of the latter, with the detail-packed body parts molded in blue plastic. This assembly kit also comes with a driver figure for a nostalgic feel, plus a lightweight and durable polycarbonate body.

2WD Chassis Packed with Unique Features
The unique space frame chassis is specially molded in dark gray. It features a 4-wheel independent suspension setup with front double wishbones and rear trailing arms. The rear suspension in particular was updated in 2007 with diaphragm type oil dampers and coil springs. A Type 540 motor drives the differential-equipped gearbox, and covered drive shafts feature dog bone joints for optimum transmission efficiency. Block pattern tires mounted on realistic black 8-spoke wheels round out this stylish package.
