Swinging Tail Fin For Smooth Swimming
The latest release in the Robocraft Series is our first water based Robocraft, the Mechanical Blowfish. Using a crank and linkage rod system this robo-fish propels itself through the water by its swinging tail fin. White under-belly holds the motor, gearbox, battery box and switch and is sealed water-proof tight. Parts are easily put together by snap-lock pieces or screws, and transparent green back means you can see all the mechanics even after completion.

How to Play
To be used in still water with no waves. Simply place in water and watch it swim!

The rotation of the motor is decelerated by the gearbox, and the rotational motion is changed to reciprocating motion by the crank and link to move the tail fin to the left and right.

Swim 1 meter at a speed of about 7 seconds.

Waterproof tape is attached between the upper and lower parts of the fuselage, and rubber rings are used for each screw hole and switch lever to ensure waterproofing.

You can adjust the mounting angle of the tail fin by pulling up the stopper on the lower side of the tail fin as shown in the photo.

Not only can you swim straight, but you can also turn right and left, and even change the turning angle. Since the tail fin is a soft material, you can freely cut it into a fin of your own shape.
