【Purple-colored Special Machine】

The Manta Ray Mk. II CITY CIRCUIT Special is a special Mini 4WD designed for the “City Circuit Tokyo Bay” in Odaiba, Tokyo, planned and operated by TOM’S INC, a company that develops custom parts for real cars and racing activities. The body, which was designed to resemble a stingray swimming in the ocean, is the same purple color as the EV karts (motor-driven racing karts) that run at the race track. It features a split-type rear wing and raised front fenders. The body markings as well as the “CITY CIRCUIT” and TOM’s logos are provided as special metallic stickers. The MA chassis is designed for both high drive efficiency and ease of assembly, with the chassis body in black and the rollers and gear covers in purple to coordinate with the body. Exclusive low friction tires (maroon) with the “CITY CIRCUIT TOKYO BAY” logo pad printed on them complete the look.

【The Ultra-Efficient MA Chassis】

The MA (Midship AERO) Chassis has its motor in the center, and features a design which focuses upon achieving outstanding aerodynamic performance. It has six individual low-friction rollers, a rear skid bar and other speedy features developed thanks to years of design experience. The single-piece monocoque frame also guarantees that assembling and keeping the car well-maintained is a task that can be performed by beginners and veteran racers alike. It features a 3.5:1 gear ratio.

【追求驅動效率的MA底盤】

「MA」是Midship AERO (中置空力)的簡稱。採用雙軸摩打的中置底盤「MS底盤」，以及著重空氣力學設計的「AR底盤」，把兩者的優勢集合於一個底盤之上的就是「MA底盤」。同時本車活用了多年以來開發經驗，標準配備了6個低摩擦塑膠導輪和後部滑片，一體型的硬殼式構造亦便於整備，是不論初學者還是老手，由2軌到官方5軌賽道皆適合的底盤。齒輪比是3.5:1。
