About the model Taiho
Completed in March 1945 in the latter half of the Pacific War, this is a plastic model assembly kit of Taiho, an aircraft carrier that disappeared into the Pacific Ocean due to a submarine attack in the Battle of the Philippine Sea just three months later, while attracting great expectations as the ace of the Japanese Navy MTF. The unique style called Enclosed Bow, in which the armored flight deck and the outer panel of the bow are connected to the flight deck, is completely reproduced. The bridge and weapon parts are also sharply finished. The mast can be selected from the battle state and the cruising state, and the elevator can be selected from the ascended state and the lowered state. Abundant carrier-based aircraft such as Zero Fighter Type 52 and Tianshan carrier-capable attack aircraft are also be provided.
